Solaris 10 10/08 update 6

Something else worthwhile to check, for a zone running in zfs, is the state of any zpools in use by that zone. A zpool in faulted state, perhaps due to potential data corruption in one or more files in the local zone, can prevent local zone shutdown. Suspended zoneadm commands then execute immediately.

Reconfiguration reboot was done prior to opening this thread. Worse come to worst, you will need to do a reinstallation. Are u using the same jumpstart config for other systems running this solaris 10 update? Last edited by incredible; at PM..

Shell Programming and Scripting. Core dump while doing Solaris packaging. Hi All, I am doing Solaris packaging. I got core dump error while doing it. I have identified particular folder causing it but not sure about the reason. Without that folder i can able to do the package. I have attached the proto file and other related files for your reference. Shame there are no real mention of any improvements to JDS. As far as I know, Linux v2. Or, I dont think there is any active development going on.

It was a student that did the majority of the v2. I was hoping to hear that this feature will be heavily developed and fully supported. Kebabbert I also has a similar ZFS setup. Edited UTC. Opensolaris only updates packages with their offerings Solaris 10 used to use sunsolve for free patch coverage, Now you need a support acct to access even the patch clusters!!!

Last time I checked it was still being developed. Any ideas? I would first enable verbose boot logging to try and pin point where it panics, that should give you more to go on. You could also try re-creating the BE and double checking all the output from the lucreate command, there's a bunch of messages that could be overlooked. Also did you include a swap space on the new BE?

Just some ideas, let me know how you get on. This is really a great post.
