As mentioned before on the forum I've re-initialized the bios vt-x value and that seems to have solved it, guests are shutting down and the control process terminates normally, I've adjusted the vbox FAQ how to do this, so far no more vt-x issues 2.
It does however beg to differ 'what' vbox does to bios volatile values when quering for vt-x capabilities Perhaps other fixes in the VBox 3. Time will tell. VirtualBox 3. Unfortunately, I had my first crash yesterday with VBox 3. I will attach the VBox log file and crash report for this incident.

You are having profile unload problems if you experience slow logoff with Saving Settings for most of the time while logging off , roaming profiles that do not reconcile, or the registry size limit is reached. And quickest way to solution is using utility or reading log that tells exactly what is wrong.
Lyndi I am not experiencing this problem. I must say however that I enjoyed reading how you implemented the process of elimination to solve the problem. Doing things this way is always the quickest way to find a solution. This was a good lesson for all of us.
