Version ticked off a lot of people because several features from were removed. Even though a calendar was introduced, Stationary was gone and color customization almost removed completely it has a few customization options but not much. Everything that made the client cool was just gone in I think what I have is a "Wave 3" version if I remember correctly?
I also remember that acquiring this installer was not easy. It originally required installing the full suite and then digging into a directory to find the actual installer, then saving a copy of it. All threads I found both on MSDN and on google yielded no responses, a response with no solution, or a link to jonathon kay's website who is providing a direct link to Messenger's exe file - none of which address my situaton.

So far I have: - Disabled antivirus, firewall, and security features - Searched google vigorously - Ran the installer several times I'm running out of things to say Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I'll also download direct exe files if MS provides that, which I'm assuming they don't cause microsoft. Thanks very much in advance, I look forward to using the updated version of Windows Mail.
